I was reading this today and am wondering how many of you will be going? Being so another person was shot and killed near the train house, I'm going to attend and see whats going on.

I can't believe this thread is not 100 pages long given all the crime worries on this board...

Folks should take that worry and use it to make council do something. Squeaky wheels get the oil when it comes to council decisions...

I'll be there - and for anyone interested:

"Monday's march begins at 5:45 p.m. at the corner of East Morehead and South McDowell Streets. It will end at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center".

It will be huge, I'm sure. Many of us will go, and some of us from city-data will just have to be there in spirit

The meeting was discussed on this thread the other day - you can see what some posters said about it at that time:

Man, I sure wish I could be there. I'm in southern Florida right now and won't be home until May 9. Good luck to everyone that is going. I'm going to follow this closely.
