We live in Hickory. My wife wants to shop at Macy's.
There are 3 malls listed in Charlotte.
Northlake Mall
Southpark Mall
Carolina Place

Which one is the cleanest and safest?

Thanks
Len

If you live in Hickory, Northlake makes the most sense. It's new and as safe as any other mall Southpark is very upscale and can be fun just to visit, but you'll drive a lot further. Carolina Place is nice also, but the traffic getting in and out of it can be a hassle. Happy shopping!

Go to Northlake. Its right off of 1-77. Take I-40 to I-77, it will be a trip I guess. Access to and from the mall is pretty good.

Southpark is too 'inside' of Charlotte. If you are not familiar with the city, you may have trouble getting to it.

Carolina Place is way too congested. If not the mall itself, then definitely the entire area around it.

Hickory does have Valley Hills Mall, Im guessing you know that, and ofcourse no Macys.

Eastland is also a mall inside Charlotte, but its on the news alot, and its not ever good news.

As the others have said, Northlake is nice and safe; and easy to get to if you’re interested in convenience (from Hickory). But SouthPark is by far the nicest mall in the Charlotte area and has the best selections.

Pf Changs 704-552-6644 when you get out from Macys mk a rt on Fairview pass Sharon on rt side located at Phillips Place.

Good luck

$40 for a plate of food?? Expensive. Think Ill stick with Chilis and steak houses!

Guess I left out the part that South Park is rather affluent, and a few years ago went through a major renovation. Now its even snobbier .
