Hi there. Down in Miami I was able to go into a bakery store that had different chocolates, molds, pans, etc. Is there one here in CLT that I can go to? What about a restaurant supply store thats open to public? TIA
These guys are close to my office. They have a retail shop that is open to the public and an online catalog. I know there is some other restaurant supply shops that are off of Westinghouse which may suit you better.
You may also want to try Kilwins in Ballantyne Village for the chocolates. They have plenty of molds that they use, and the guy may be able to tell you where he sourced them.
You might want to try Cooking Uptown: Cooking Uptown (http://www.cookinguptown.com/index.html - broken link). I have never been inside but I see it all the time since I live in the neighborhood.
Sweetea's Bakery and Tearoom in Downtown Monroe features a large variety of teas and a great selection of pastries. They have some of the best scones around. They also serve hearty, 4-inch high quiche slices in a variety of flavors. European-style setup and bakery items. Though it is a bit far from Uptown, it's worth it.
Momjnj-I think thats what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a supply store not an actual bakery store. Where is it compared to Concord? Thanks
