It seems to be Blue Cross/Blue Shield around here. My 1 year old son has full coverage for $160 a month. I am not sure what their family plans are like. I got our plan through our homeowner insurance agent, but you can also do it yourself online.

Check BCBS of NC, wehen we checked it was about 700 for PPO coverage with a decent deductible. Remember underwriting can take about six weeks and we didn't have any chronic medical conditions and we are fairly young. You can also do short term and then go to a long term plan if you have to.
