It's like street hockey or ball hockey...played with a ball instead of puck, but the rest of the rules, equipment, etc are pretty much like regular hockey...its played on foot (sneakers) on a sport court surface, which looks like a regular rink, i.e. boards, glass, etc...see links below from some leagues in Pittsburgh..

I played in Pittsburgh too. Dek-star off Mt. Nebo Rd, Island Sports Center on Neville Island, and at the one on Rt 66 in Greensburg that's gone.
