I am wondering if anyone here might have some good resources for someone who is looking to write a grant.

Thanks

I know a guy who can help. He's easy to spot. He has a suit made of question marks, and he's REALLY loud. You might have seen him on TV.

Oh heavens. Grant writing. Do you mean - you want to do grantwriting or you need a grantwriter? Cause I can write 'em and do but really don't like it.

But if you want me to put you down as a resource where I can send others who need a grantwriter, just DM me and I will take down your contact info, Kitty.

Ani,

I am actually interested in learning more about writing them. As I understand they aren't a favorite past time but I have some ideas swimming around. Thanks!

Who's buried in Grant's tomb. Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

To answer the OP's question though, I wish I had the bookmarks to give you but I don't, but I do know, the Internet is a great resource to begin your search. I know, because I found them and they are written for you all you have to do is fill in the blanks.

It is my weekend project, to do some research on this. In the meantime, if you run across any bookmarks, feel free to let me know.

I mentioned something similar on an unrelated thread but these books ("For Dummies" and "Complete Idiot's Guide" series) can be a valuable resource to learn things from:

Amazon.com: Grant Writing For Dummies (For Dummies (Career/Education)): Beverly A. Browning: Books

Amazon.com: The Complete Idiot's Guide to Grant Writing, 2nd Edition: Waddy Thompson: Books

You have specific activities you want to fund?

Granting agencies make money available for certain (pet?) causes. You have to match your need/opportunity with a funding source. Have you done that yet, or is that what you are trying to determine?

Tober, thanks...I will check those out.

Native,
I am very much in the beginning stages of this. I have some ideas but need to start at the bottom and work my way up with research.

thanks
