I have family coming in town and we would love to do something fun! Any suggestions?? We would like to stay within 45 mins of Charlotte:-)

There's a jazz event in Cornelius that sounds pretty nice. The last weekend in August is always a little slow in Charlotte because things really pick up big time in September.
