They scared the CRAP out of me at first when we moved here! I have found them to be extremely docile and not at all aggressive. I've literally had them run into me before on accident but they quickly fly away and seem not the least bit interested in stinging, swarming, or otherwise doing harm.

Lol, at least you have the sense to stop the car and get out. not too long ago a lady wrecked her car right in front of our house because of a bug. She was frantically swatting at it and ran her car into the light pole.

Bees only scare me if they are the Africanized variety. I remember being told as a kid that we would all be dead from them by now.

What does Africanized mean? Does it mean that the bees have gone off to Africa for a vacation and have come back all Africanized - like wearing tribal costumes. I have never heard of the word.

I think the proper term is AA Bees...
