No. At this point in time, it's only "roadkill" for "viddles"!

pink caddy -

What was the outcome on your trip to the housing authority? Do they have anything available?

My job sometimes entails helping folks who are homeless or about to be homeless. I direct them to the income-based apartments, but tell them the section 8 list is closed, because it has been for such a long time!

I was curious what you found out! Thanks -

Update on the young couple: Things have worked out ok for them thanks to mutual friends we have in Charlotte. Transplants living in Waxhall both work and offered to help. She is in her own business and he as a manager of a small Spanish owned supermarket chain.

They offered the couple a room in their "McMansion" in exchange for daily childcare. The young man is now working 4 days a week in the produce dept at min. wage.

For now all is well. Thanks for your concerns for this couple.

Great to hear things are looking up for them

In this day and time we need to all look out for one another where we can! You never know when YOU might be the one in need yourself.

She should contact the YWCA, they have housing. Also have her contact Jacob's Ladder they can direct her to the right agencies, etc.
