Are these considered safe neighborhoods? (Charlotte, Concord: foreclosures, rental, crime)

We will be driving down from Ohio this weekend to look @ rental houses & we really only have 1 day to do it so I'm trying to narrow down our list (we're also looking in Concord, Troutman, & Rock Hill). So I'd like to weed out anything that's not in a safe area. TIA!

ETA: I have already checked them on Charlotte crime data but I know that it can be skewed

Of the ones I am familiar with, the first three are in family-oriented neighborhoods. The one on Christian Scott is in an area where there were a LOT of foreclosures, so there might be some empty homes around, you can get a feel for it when you visit. That's also pretty close to 485, seems like the noise would be bad, but I've never been to that specific place so I don't know.

The Snowdrop address is in a higher-crime area.

I'm not familiar with the other two neighborhoods. I know some people would dismiss them because they're on the "west side", but they might be worth checking out and getting a feel for the neighbors, etc.

Sullivan and Terrier Way would be fine.
Christian Scott wouldn't have the best of schools and does have a lot of foreclosures, I would avoid
X the one on Snowdrop - you don't want to be there
You might like the more rural feel of Winding Canyon, but again, schools in that area would not be the best.
You most certainly DO NOT want Wingate Ave!
