Yes, several times.

Like their pizza alot. Not as good as Angela's or Tony's in Ballantyne, but better than most in this area. Owners are from LI.

However, their pasta dishes in the restaurant section are average IMO....

My husband and children order pizza and the Italian sub. every time I have a meeting at night. They LOVE Mama's! and the guys who own the place are so nice. They are also very supportive of the community and the local schools, which goes a long way with me.
And, in all fairness, Big Guy's in Mint Hill has a lot of fans too. They have been in Mint Hill a lot longer than Mama's and also are very supportive of the community and the schools. They're located in the shopping center where the Harris Teeter was located (behind BK).

Default Mama's in Mint Hill Is Wonderful!

I agree that Mama's in Mint Hill is terrific. I love the food, the atmosphere and the service. It's one of the few local restaurants that can boast candles on the table and cloth napkins!

I've eaten on the restaurant side a few times. The food is good, but the atmosphere is great.

We love their sauce(s) on the pasta dishes, but the bread isn't as good as Angela's. I agree - Big Guy's has delicious pizza too, but then Angela's is probably our favorite.
