Ciro's is pretty good, IMO. They have a violin player. Ciro's Italian Restaurant

The Fig Tree. it is a locally owned Chef run restaurant. They are in a restored historic house and the food is wonderful. The house has a lot of different rooms, and you can be in a cozy little room or the more wide open dining area with a fireplace.

Without a doubt IMO the most romantic restaurant in Charlotte

Pewter Rose on south blvd. because of the old building,
the interior has an intimate feel to it and the bar is
also a nice place to hang.

The McNinch House Restaurant on N Church St is where you need to go.
Perfect customer service and food done to your liking. My gf doesn't do dairy products and they altered the menu to that. They even have stuff for vegans! I heard the guy that did the interior is the same one that did the interior at the Biltmore house... pretty cool if you're into "victorian" houses and history.

If I could afford it, I'd go there every week.
