We are planning on renting a boat. Great idea, thanks!
One of my visitors hates crowds, so Carowinds is out, unfortunately. Same goes for the Whitewater center.

Molly Ringwald is performing in the show "Sweet Charity" through Sunday and Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. Very nice theatre uptown.

I would love to see that show...once my visitors are gone. You also suggested the Symphony. Did you see the show last weekend? We drove by South Park and were amazed at how many blankets were already out on the lawns (in the pouring rain!!!) Luckily, it cleared up by showtime. Unfortunatelly we didn't go. We spent most of the day at the DS Botanical Gardens..... just beautiful!

I didn't go last week. I put my blankets out one day at noon when I lived about 3 miles from South Park. It rained all afternoon and stopped an hour or two before the show. So now I just bring a blanket and find a spot on the hill usually. My coworker saw Sweet Charity last night. She said it was good, but some parts were slow.

What kind of dancing? We were just there last night, and they had a band there that was pretty good. Maybe we'll check it out too. My kids liked hanging out there last night.

They have ballroom dancers from around the world and then open up the floor to all kinds of dancing.
