Has anyone dealt with them? Good? Bad? We are moving to NC soon and so far our favorite floor plan is with Eastwood Homes. We visited there when we were on vacation back in June and liked what we saw. They also have 3 different developments going up in general area we are looking (Indian Trail, Wesley Chapel, and Waxhaw).
I have looked at some of their homes and have nothing really good or bad to say except that I hate their signature dust collection shelf that they put in most of their master bedrooms.
We live in an Eastwood home, since July. We had great follow up and customer service at the beginning, however since our sales person left and the Building superintendant was let go (downsizing due to market) we have had a difficult time getting things taken care of. Yes they are minor, for the most part, but it's not been a great experience. I realize this is an older thread but maybe this will help someone out there deciding on a new home--we live in Crismark by the way, other subdivisions may have more responsive and considerate staff.

Sold property in Eastwood Community to fellow agent relocating from SC and working in Southpark area. See him often and he LOVES it and has had no complaints.
I LOVE my Eastwood home. No complaints whatsoever, not during the building or afterwards. I'd recommend an Eastwood home to anyone.
When our independent home inspector that we found on our own did our predrywall and final inspection, he found virtually nothing and was very surprised at the quality of the work. We're supposed to be doing our post-move in walkthrough (it's been 3 months) and the worst problem I've found is that the dishwasher is scooted out more than it should be. It needs some rubber feet.
