Its those cheapo Chinese batteries. Too bad they have all of the lithium manganese dioxide. If we had some Obama could get his buddies at Solyndra to make some first class US batteries.

This has already been debunked as the problem being the owners fault and not the actual car. If your round trip is the national average then you can go months without having to stop at a gas station. People are getting close to and even in some cases over 100mpg due to it only using the electric motor during their commute.
