The Isettas scared the doo doo out of me.

Economy is great but there are limits, especially when driving on the California Freeways.

I prefer the term super XL executive cars (only the ignorant convert them into pimpmobiles) or super XL land yachts!

So back to the original question, I think the CTS-V would be a lot cooler if it was a bit smaller. Otherwise, besides the Corvette, it's about the only example of a full-on competitive effort from GM and I think that's great (and hopefully that will rub off on whatever's left of them come year end
Interesting. I may like a CTS better if it was about 2 feet longer!

I've often wondered what it is like to find your $85K plus Mercedes parked next to an "identical twin" $20K or less Nissan or Toyota.

I never thought of it that way! True, though.

Exactly. Cadillac's most desirable era (in terms of build quality, sales, etc) was most likely the '60s so ignoring Cadillac's glorious history would be a mistake.

I should also add that I've been to several Cadillac and Lincoln forums and I am surprised how many fans of '50s-'70s cars are under 25 years old.

Sure, go ahead. Most of us here don't get all bent out of shape when another member posts a photo which may or may not be off topic.

I think I know the car you mentioned. Isn't the Isetta that really tiny car, something like 159" in overall length? I could look up the actual length but that would spoil the fun!

Still kinda scary but I believe that is the "extended" version, Irishtom.

If I remember correctly, the one I "experienced" didn't have rear doors.

Thanks for putting up the Isetta Tom.

Please note that this is the large(!) four seater version with an additional door at the side
