A good looking car that handles well and hauls %%%. The problem is I can get a beemer or nissan that will do all that for 30 K less. For the same price I can get a car that can outdo it in every category including mileage.

OK, so what does Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5-series have that the CTS doesn't other than snob appeal? Or are you content to just wallow in your biases?
