Hello again!

We're still looking for the "perfect" house in Evanston for $400,000 and it's proving to be difficult. We saw one on Ashland (between Church and Emerson), close to Lyons. We like that the school district is Willard and that it is close to the Metra on Davis. Is this an OK area? Too close to the Highschool? Are there families here?

Thanks so much for your help.

I'm not very familiar with the area of Ashland you mention. There is new construction in the block you mention, and the area to the south is quite nice, with a park right there. For $400,000, it seems like a good bet. Good luck!
