Take a look at Four Lakes Village in Lisle. Has to be the most impressive complex in all of Chicago land! I lived there long ago, those were the best years of my life. I owe FLV for most of it. If you are into nature, sports, social life, that's the place to be, period!!

Scrap Oakbrook and Romeoville. Oakbrook is very expensive and has few apartments, Romeoville is too far away from most things unless you work near there. Orland Park or downers grove might be realistic. You cite places that are very far away from another ...the real issue is where will you work and what is your budget.

Agreed. Romeoville is pretty close to Joliet however.

Where will you be working? How much would you like to spend on rent? Orland Park area is nice but a bit of a pain to get to. Cities to consider in that area are Orland Park, Tinley Park, Homer Glen, and Mokena. If you want to move to Oakbrook, which is a more accessible area I'd consider checking into Oakbrook, Hinsdale, Western Springs, and La Grange. If you are looking more for Romeoville/Downers Grove area look into DG, Plainfield, Romeoville, Woodridge, and Naperville. The furthest south is going to be the Joliet/Shorewood area which also may be something to consider. Oakbrook and Orland Park area are about 25-30 minutes away. DG/Romoeville to Oakbrook is about 30 minutes and DG/Romeoville to Orland Park is about 20-30 minutes apart.
