Agreed you go to some kangaroo court administrative hearing. I just don't shop in corrupt cities that use these cameras. Besides I prefer shopping online anyways and depriving the dummycraps of my sales tax revenue especially Cook Co President Pigswindle. Most of the tickets come from right turners. You need to stop before the stop line for a 3 count or something then creep up so you can see and turn. It is a technicality that was never enforced until these scameras made it very profitable to shakedown drivers.

You're required to pay tax on items purchased online. You might want to look into your state and local tax codes. Be careful as what you're explaining is criminal.

Good luck enforcing it. Now that Crook Co upped their sales tax to the highest in the nation I'll be doing all my shopping in Dupage Co and online.

Illinois tried collecting taxes a few years back by putting it as a question on the State tax return and the only effect it had was to make the state look even more pathetic. They eventually took it off. In fact, the charging of state sales tax to companies with no presence in IL was ruled unconstitutional by the Illinois Supreme Court.

Based on your admission of evading sales and use tax, it looks like you're the crook.

Companies that do not have a presence in Illinois are not required (nor allowed) to charge you sales tax. As you have pointed out, that is against the law. Similar to how your choice not to pay taxes on your online purchases is against the law. Do you think that you're above the law? That is the thought of a criminal.
