I grew up in Skokie illinois I am half Jewish and feel I was never accepted I want to move to s suburb but one that will accept me my other half is Latino. What is a Latino friendly suburb I was told carpentersville! Never been.

Skokie is one of, if not the most, diverse suburb of Chicago. I don't see why you would think that another locality would be more accepting. I think your social circle is going to be more pivotal than your zip code in leaving you feeling accepted.

That would be a huge step down from Skokie. I would also worry more about the ‘company you keep’ than an odd rumor regarding any one exurb being ‘more accepting’.

Good luck.

There are other Latino friendly suburbs. If you feel you aren't accepted maybe it has nothing to do with your ethnicity. Places such as Franklin Park, West Chicago, Berwyn, Cicero, Melrose Park, all have high proportions of Hispanics. Some are not as nice as Skokie.
