Default Commute Alsip to Lombard

Can anyone give any times on commuting during rush hour on 294 from Alsip to Lombard?

It really depends on the the time and day. They have been doing construction on 290 for three years now. I think they still have one year left. That being said the roads are improving, but still heavily congested.
Ii'd say realistically you're looking around an hour.

I live in Oak Lawn and only need to go as far as Willowbrook. That's 1/2 an hour on a good day. Starting in Alsip and going to Lombard will be a minimum of 1 hour, and you can probably expect a 1 1/2 trip on a regular basis. From listening to the traffic reports, the Tri State is usually crawling along between Crawford and Ridgeland. I know from experience it's slow at 95th and nearly stops along the mile long bridge. That delay usually continues all the way to the 290 extension.

if you have a morning comute there and evening comute home you can park at the blue island park and ride and take pace bus 877 there it is a charter bus set up like a coach

you can check it out at www.pacebus.com type in route 877
