We're still good in the north suburbs. Rain would be welcome though.

Grass can go f*&# itself. We got plenty of rain this spring. If vegetation wasn't so greedy, they could've saved that, and I could enjoy weeks of sunshine without seeing the grass throw a temper tantrum.

Wow Diddy why ya gotta hate on the blades so tough? What did they ever do to you? I'm a big sun worshiping person myself, but can't we all just get along - plants and people?

Steve-O - up North here it's all green and all good!

Dang, our grass is getting real yellow and crunchy. How come the north side seems ok??? Even with the rain we had last week, its still looking pathetic (the grass, that is).

Don't get me started on that whole North side South side thing Who knows - I just know that Lake county always seems to have different weather going on. Also, our peeps water!

You know I'm teasing you, right? But they do water!

I would think its normal. We're still plenty wet this growing season. Lake Michigan is finally ot the level its supposed to be at, after years of being low.

I guess I see a touch of brown, but lawn grass I don't care so much about. Its the natural areas, like level of wetlands that I'm more interested in.

We are doing ok here in the western burbs. In parts there is a slight golden tint but nothing crunchy to the touch. Of course my neighbors who water every other day have a golf course yard but we average folks are still doing ok but if there is no rain in the next two days I'm might turn on the H2O.
