Hello!
Where are some places or parks in Chicago that is safe to sleep at night? Somewhere near the loop or 5 mile radius of the loop would be lovely.

CTA trains would not be counted.

Thank you!

Is this a serious post? So you're homeless using someone's computer or some place's computer, wondering where you can sleep...??

How can I even a afford a money to get to San Francisco?
I need serious helpful answers please. Thank you.

And to clarify some things. I do would prefer to sleep in a shelter if there's a chance. But sometimes, they get full too quickly. So I'll be forced to sleep outdoor.

I know there are free places to sleep in the loop, no drugs, alcohol, weapons, etc, ask a pastor at a church, they'll direct you, churches are easy to find. Maybe a police or fire person could tell you where to go as well.

Yes this is serious. I wouldn't waste my time joking or lying about this.
I have a long story how I end up this situation.
Yes, I am using someone's computer to create this.
My distant cousin was kind enough to let me stay in her house for a while. But I'll be asked to move out next week. I am preparing myself for this.

I've seen ppl sleeping in grant park while walking to work in the morning, but really, a church will help you out with where to get free food, shelter and other social services, you just need to get the info.

While you have Internet access, search for social services in Chicago and keep addresses and phone numbers with you all the time. Good luck.

Thank you. I have done my research about homeless shelters. Some have complicated time check im rules, some forced you to go under AA or therapies even if you are not an alcoholic or drug user. But I'll surely ask some churches about this. I heard about the Lake View Lutheran Church. I just want to know other or more options from people here. Just taking advantage of this opportunity while I still have an access to the internet.
