I like a good crisp winter snowfall as much as any other hearty Upper Midwesterner. But couldn't we at least get past Thanksgiving before this sh*t starts falling outta the sky?? Dammit, our cars still have their summer tires on.

Snow is awesome.

As long as you don't have to shovel it.

You can come steal the POS tires off mine. It'll give me an excuse to replace them with decent tires come March/April.

It's surreal seeing snow on leaves some of which haven't even changed colors yet.

I didn't mind the snow today, but the wind chill really got to me. In the teens! I wasn't quite prepared for that.

Looks like this is just a one-day thing this time around, and temps get milder through the rest of this week.

I come from Cleveland where the first significant snowfall arrives around the second week of November, more often than not. And by "significant" I mean five inches or more. To me, the snow we had today was nothing.

LOL it can be. I actually miss seeing snow in rural or suburban areas. Very beautiful and kind of romantic under the right conditions.
