Who knows anything about Charolette rentals? Im specifically looking for a rental house in walking distance to a good elementary school.
Sorry to read about the bad Chicago experience.

If it wasn't for meeting people through social media, I don't think I could've enjoyed Chicago. From my perspective hindsight, Chicago is easily the worst place for the overall African American experience unless there are family ties to the area. .

When I lived in Charlotte, I lived off of Wendover Rd. With children I think you are making a better choice. Not much excitement as far as things to do but Charlotte is popular for many reasons. Very friendly city. Lots of transplants from all over so it's less cliquish and easy to meet people. Good luck!
