I've never been to the Second City before, though I'd like to. When would be a good time to visit? Would Christmas/New Year be too cold?

You never know... Normally the weather here would be similar to the weather in New York at that time of year, actually. But a horrible cold snap is always a possibility as you get closer to January.

The month of august this year would've been the best time... but fall can be pretty nice, especially september/october.
