Having a great visit so far. Thanks to all for the help.

We are about halfway into our trip. So far we have:

1. Watched Cubs game
2. Been to Shedd Aquarium
3. Been to Chinatown
4. Taken several trains/buses
5. Some shopping
6. Target on Roosevelt in south loop...how cool is that contraption to get the carts to other floors?
7. Buckingham Fountain at night
8. Naperville. We did some house shopping and to get a feel of the area. As you know we are definitely considering a move to Chicago soon.

Still need to do:

1. Field museum. It is free tomorrow and thursday. We plan on taking advantage.
2. Lincoln Park Zoo
3. Willis Tower
4. Navy Pier (we got there at 8:15 last night. We didn't know that they close at 8)
5. Buckingham Fountain during day. We already saw it at night.

Any other suggestions? What's the best way to get to Lincoln Park Zoo from Field Museum.

Thanks all!
5.

The old Marshall Fields on State St is still pretty amazingly large, though Macy's has sucked out a lot of the more unique merchandise -- good rainy day activity. As is the Art Institute.

I mean Sears Tower. I am trying to stay current...but they changed the name of a landmark. What next? A foreign company buys the Statue of Liberty and renames it "Vanessa"? Lol
