That....was......AWESOME (think Farley)! I have gone through a couple of Hurricanes and that was on par minus the atrocious winds we get in hurricanes! Way cool. The thing that I notice about t-storms in Chicago is that they (the sever one) seem to literally come out of the blue with virtually no warning. AMAZING! I must disclose that I am kind of a weather buff!

That was seriously one of the most intense storms I've ever seen. There were were 90,000 thunderbolts hitting northern Illinois, and at the storm’s peak, it was detonating 800 bolts per minute. In six months’ worth of time, we usually don’t have that much lightning.

"There was no precedent for this. In every way imaginable, that storm last night was in its own league.”

You live in Houston for Gods sake. It is very hard for me to believe that you haven't gone through something like these posted, not to mention IKE! I like to get drunk during a good storm!

Honey, just for that quote you deserve an Oscar and your own special on AMC. Maybe Gretta Garbo can portray you in the biography: "MyssaTx: I Want To Dance In the Rain".

Why do you all your posts just scream of naivety? Any storm you get in Texas will be way worse than one in Chicago, for the most part.
