Greetings, folks...

June has deleted an awful lot of off topic, sarcastic and otherwise nasty posts. That makes June cranky. As such, if even one more of those posts show up in this thread, it's "close the thread time" with infractions, all ways around.

~So let's not have this thread closed, okay? (And let's not make June any crankier!)....

Thanks, all!

Thanks for the links, Brian.

If I could have chosen a denomination to belong to when I was younger it would have been Quaker. William Penn's Frame of Government had a big influence on our constitution.

My pleasure! Reading some of the statement of faith of the AFSC earlier, I thought, "I guess I'm maybe more Quaker than anything else!"

Maybe I need to get involved with them somehow.. here in Italy there aren't many, though..!

Blessings!
Brian

I know I've cited her before, but Hannah Whitall Smith was brought up as a Quaker, and her chapter "Is God in Everything?" in her book "The Christian's Secret of a Happy Life" is a wonderful work encouraging us to pacifism, or non-resistance to evil, and trusting in the Lord in all things, no matter what:

Is God in Everything?

Blessings!
Brian

Does mean that we are allowed to continue with holding to our enemies, for both shallow and deep reasons. Why would we worry? We are christian which means expect redemption and all of the other wills to bare up to providence when we are part of the groups and when we are individuals. We love our enemies by choice for the moment of being naive, I heard somewhere too.

It seems Jazzymom mentioned about porn. I think it had purposefully asked about my common beliefs with her. Now I'm believing that forgiveness was the answer.

We forgive our enemies, and love was ahead of faith. That was the solution.

Guys I just wanted to add something. Brian (ahigherway) is right. If you aren't aware of the upcoming New World Order by now please I beg you to get informed. They'll promise "peace and security." It's in the second coming prophecy. This is not a conspiracy "theory" any more. It's in the press. With this new order there will be a new unified religion. From what I grasp from my research, it means Christianity and Islam will be joined somehow through the archangel Gabriel. Of course for Christians to participate in this they have to renounce JESUS CHRIST AS GOD!!! I wish people would wake up to the world around them. This indeed would be taking the mark of the beast. Worshiping their new age leader. If you don't you won't be able to buy and sell, etc.

Much love to all. Here are a few links you MUST look at, especially if you are a Christian.

There's 13 parts. Cross check reference everything!

PS From what I grasp your pastor isn't talking about if for a reason. The only truth is in the Bible, his word. Read revelation and second coming prophecy.
