Num 10:4-7 And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee. When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward. When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys. But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.
1. The Passover, in remembrance of the deliverance out of Egypt.
2. The feast of weeks, or the feast of Pentecost; added to it is the law of the first-fruits.
3. The feast of in-gathering, or the feast of Tabernacles. Moses is to write these words, that the people might know them better. We can never be enough thankful to God for the written word. God would make a covenant with Israel, in Moses as a mediator. Thus the covenant of grace is made with believers through Christ.
1. Passover is your salvation.
2. Pentecost the birth of the church. Acts 2: 1 - 4 the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
3. The feast of Tabernacles is rising of the dead. Rev 20:4-6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:
