Love for people without unity is vanity-----Amos 3:3.

Love for people without unity is a disgrace---Matthew 7:6.

Love for people with a 90% bible believer is an unequal
yoke-----2 Cor. 6:14-17.

Praying in ignorance is vanity----John 17:9.

Taking jewelry off is the bible like don't steal a cracker is.

Don't have a graven image is the bible like don't lie is.

Resting on the Sabbath is the bible like don't marry another divorced person is.

Rebuking with the bible is the book like don't judge is.

Teaching tongues right is the bible like don't cuss and swear is.

Segregation is the bible like don't hate is.

Consider this. They said wrongly because they did not rightly divide the word of truth. There was never anything wrong with what God had said in the O.T.. Jesus came along and straited them out as to what it really meant not what they were saying. It is written, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever." Spiritual really has never changed but what the law could not do, Jesus fullfiled so that in Him we can have more and more of the Truth in us.

Yes they thought the scripture was about outward cleaning( not rightly dividing the word of truth, the reality of Christ in us). Saying I believe in Jesus to me is no different to the Pharisees confession of Abraham is our Father. Let your Light Your shine before men . We are commissioned to point folk to Jesus Christ, not what we believe.
