Why do you preach hate, instead of love? Why are you drawn to verses of hate, instead of verses of love? Why are you drawn to the darkness instead of the light?
You read verses from the bible and say God said it.
What about the two commands that came from the mouth of Jesus?
Those two commands are based and rooted in LOVE, not Hate.
Whoever loves, knows God for God IS Love.
I am really quite sorry and sad that you think God hates people.
I'm even sadder that you are a pastor.
You don't know what love is until you realize God hates sin....yet he died on the cross to pay for our sin -- and free us from it. Instead, you have this sappy little, namby pamby notion of a god that is just too weak to punish sin. Your failure to understand who God is will lead you and anyone that listens to you to hell.
So you think God is so holy that he will destroy sin but will let the sinner live (even though he hates him/her)?

You do see the contradiction in what you're saying, right? If you believe God's holiness does not preclude him from destroying your sin while allowing you to live, why do you think his holiness precludes him from doing it for any other sinner?
Don't tell me it's because they don't believe the right things because that's not what you were arguing ... your argument was that God's holiness would not allow him to destroy the sin in a person but still let them live. But then you turn around and say he has done exactly that.
"God's holiness means he must destroy sinners; God will destroy sin and save sinners." Which is it, Vizio?
"God loves sinners; God hates sinners." Which is it, Vizio?

Vizio..
Those who love, know God for God IS love.
If God IS Love... then how can you NOT believe that Love is the most powerful force in existence?
Who do you love? Is your love sappy and namby pamby or would you travel to the ends of the earth for those you love?
So, you agree that God is so holy that he will destroy sin but let the sinner live.
He was the sacrifice for the sin, yes.

I think you've almost got it. Jesus dying on the cross does remove sin. But only for those that believe.
"God loves sinners; God hates sinners." Which is it, Vizio?
You're close. God took it upon himself to die on the cross to save man. But only those men that believe. The non-believers are still in their sin and they will be punished in hell.
God is love. But he also hates sinners. How do you reconcile that?
"God hates sinners; God loves sinners." Which is it, Vizio? They contradict.
"God is too holy to destroy sin and save the sinner; God gives himself a loophole by which he will destroy sin and save the sinner."
Which is it, Vizio? They contradict.
