Sorry, not enough. As I said above "To follow the Torah means to follow the ethical principles taught there". It means to study Torah as Jesus studied Torah. As far as I know, everything that Jesus taught was based based on the Old Testament. Jesus showed a much deeper understanding of the Old Testament than the Pharisees had. His understanding went beyond the mere law to the underlying ethical principles.

Indeed He did and that is the point I made in my original post in this thread: the reason for the new perspective, New Commandment, New Covenant.

I agree . The secret today is to study scripture with the mind of Christ otherwise our minds will be veiled,that we do not understand it.

The wisdom of God is buried within scripture.
