I've also challenged the same people to produce such a list ... and the one that anyone dares to produce is The Facts and Stats on 33000 Denominations: World Christian Encyclopedia (2001, 2nd edition) PhilVaz Phil Philip Phillip Porvaznik

and it admits that they

[1] come to such a number by by watering down the definition of a denomination to be the individual local place of worship.

[2] that they admit they have to include "marginals" (notice who is included this list ... in bold) to get to this absurd number

The "Marginal Christian" groups include Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, various "Arian" or
pseudo-Christian cults, some Christian science or "mind science" cults,
some Unitarian/Universalist groups, and tiny numbers of so-called Christian or Catholic "Gnostics."

the truth is that anybody who seriously accepts the 30,000+ is being played on either as

• at best naive
• being dumbed down thus are being deceived
• or a wanton participate to the deliberate lie thus are the deceiver

I suppose for someone who places their trust in a man made organization the idea that there are other man made organizations would make you want to prove your man made organization is greater than other man made organizations. But for those of us who have placed our faith in Jesus Christ there is not need for concern.
