I wish I had seen this much earlier! On the other hand, what do you say to someone who just picks through a paragraph, and find the bits and pieces that he wants to make an argument with? Maybe he's 12. Yes, that must be it.
I don't think true Christians should be pushing for any political agenda at all. Christians are not really supposed to be in tangled in politics, since they are waiting for Jesus to come and take over rulership of the whole earth anyway. So, if the government wants to give gay people the right to marry, so be it. If the government wants to get 4 people the right to marry each other, so be it. That's not for people following Christianity to decide, since they should have already known that the world was going to get more and more wicked as time goes on.
What amazes me is how people want to take the Bible and rework it to be accepting of gay people. Or rather, the behavior of gay people. Every time homosexuality is mentioned in the Bible, it's mention in a bad light. Not just in a bad light, it flat out says don't do these things. So, where is the confusion? If you don't want to listen to what the Bible says, then don't. But stop trying to rework it to say something else. I could care less about the political agendas. Make all the rules you want that benefit gay people. Just stop trying to tamper with the Bible.

Sin of the flesh only points to sin in the spirit. If a person of the spirit is condemning a person who commits acts in the flesh, then the person who is committing homosexuality in the flesh is better than he who commits it is the spirit and this is why it is said,'' Two men in a bed, one taken, the other left behind.''
These two men were in a spiritual marriage of two men, although they are one person. When God comes, he should find a submissive virgin to the will of the spirit and this perfect union brings about sons. A man submits the will of the spirit because he knows all his imaginations are evil and so he brings his desires and the fruits of his flesh under authority and begins to use his body in love which produces the fruit of the spirit instead of the fruit of the flesh. This is done under surrender to the will of the spirit.

If God comes and finds two men in a bed, it is because he expected to find a very humble female whose sins are every before her face, and she is trying to submit and to be a true servant of God.

In my state I've personally engaged in anti-gambling campaigning. We don't have casinos here and there have been out-of-state interests with paid petitioners that I have met.
As for the rest of it? I don't engage in them and I have preached against all of them.
