If I had seen God appear to me in the very real sense that Abraham had seen him appear time and time and time again over the course of decades....yes. Remember...it was God that told Abraham and Sarah that he'd have the child in the first place...at the ripe old age of 90 and 100. This wasn't just a gut feeling that he got and decided to go a-sacrificin'.
Surely you must be joking! Please tell me that you don't have children (or easy access to them).
I don't agree with your view, in that I don't believe God causes the darkness. I believe WE cause the darkness when we shut out the light of His love.
This is what it regarded. I provided Isaiah 45:7 in response.
However, I don't claim special knowledge and we are all equal. Brother pcamps would like me to reconsider my position, so I believe it best for me to do so. Whenever a fellow believer asks that we examine what we're saying, it is wise to do so. So for the time being, we'll put my comment on pause.
Sven, did you iknow that the goodnessbof God is the cause of us retuning and being restored back to himself?. Romans 2:4
Of cause universalist fundamentalist believe the goodness of God can be evil too.
I can understand the concern. If the concern regards me attributing evil to God, then I definitely understand it.
My posts were only to isolate the point that sometimes evil does have to occur, in order for good to occur. Jesus had to be crucified in order for the grand design to play out as it did.
All good universalists do not quote the YLT, pcamps. And I have seen the YLT translation used by universalists when sharing that all is out of God, contrary to what you have stated.
I have no problem with the YLT translation of the verse. As shared:
bara=form, fashion, prepare, create, make, produce

Yes, I do. God bless.
I disagree, they do.
Do you see how absurd it sounds to stop something you created because it looked like it was getting out of hand(there is no denying that), which is why God stopped what he did, if it was out of hand, and it cannot be read any other way if God created it, then for that time God lost control.
