Have you ever thought of the ten words (commandments) as ten prophetic statements?
For instance "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart . . . " could be viewed as a prophetic statement in that the Israelites shall, in the future, do just that when God writes the law on their hearts.

Possible, But that's undue speculation, so don't go creating another doctrine....And look up the grammatical difference between shall and will....Actually in the Hebrew it doesn't say shall...
The 613 mitzvot were perception of things that were necessary to relate positively in society with man and God. As such, some of them were very specific to the time and culture. The basc idea of doing things that promote a proactive social order that is pleasing to God is still in effect, so, you could say that understood in context the mitzvot are still in effect, but the specifica and particular applications are not.
