Seeing as how Christ did not carry around the entire Old Testament when He traveled, and seeing as how He quoted scriptures from the Old Testament, it just stands to reason that He had the entire Old Testament memorized. It is not that hard to figure out.
If you notice when he said, "it is written", he didn't correct it, but when he said, "You have heard that...", be followed it with a fullfillment of the Law...In other words, he corrected the understanding of it...

Unfortunately for mankind, Eve dictated (ruled over) Adam whom if he had dismissed the desires of Eve would have remained obedient to God…………. instead Adam who was not deceived as Eve was preferred to keep his relationship with Eve more than he did with God

The soul merely fights for survival, it doesn't rule over the Spirit.
Have you ever been in close-combat, it's not the weaker vessel.
