I've enjoyed debating and arguing and defending the faith for awhile on these boards. A thought occurred to me....are we praying for the atheists and trolls that frequent the board?

Have you prayed that God would move in them and turn their hostility into faith?

I'm sure some have, as I've been told so, but as with all prayer it hasn't worked obviously.

I notice Brave Sir Viz didn't answer his own question.

If he prays for us hell-bound heathens, I wonder if it extends to those he has put on ignore?

Since it appears you will most likely get more responses from the atheists and trolls with whom you seem to share a love-hate relationship with, I decided to jump in sort of in your defense. Yes when I pray my daily prayer, I first ask for my own peace of mind, then the health and well-being of my wife, children and grandchildren. Then I ask the Everlasting Almighty to bless, and show mercy upon, and to cover with His grace, all the other inhabitants of this earth. Since I believe we all are his creation, I also believe everyone should have the grace of God. Amen

No but I probably should pray for them in general just as hard as I pray for the ultra-fundamentalists here to open their minds about certain topics.

I will continue to do so.

Truth? No. But being an obnoxious jerk who delights in mocking and trolling internet message boards is hostile. It's not my place to decide who is or is not in that category, but I'll let you decide for yourself if you fit.

Look....let's be honest here. This is a Christianity message board. If your only reason for coming here is to mock and insult people....I just gotta ask "WHY?" You can disagree with us, and we can have a great discussion...but just coming here to be a jerk is just not nice. Why would someone do that?

I pray on a daily basis that those with a Pharisaical mindset be brought to the truth and understanding of Christ's message--LOVE your neighbor as yourself. Though it is really obvious how much a typical evangelical dislikes themselves by the way they hate their neighbors.

Do unto others I suppose makes sense, I guess some just forgot that it is BETTER to LOVE yourself and your NEIGHBOR and that HATE is a dead end road.
