Why do you focus on hate? Despite our flaws, God loves us and sent His Son to redeem us. That is the message we should be sharing.
Part of the message we should be sharing is that we are also on a path to improving the way we love; what is known as sanctification, and a big part of that is to look honestly instead of defensively at criticism, however painful it may be or even however confrontationally it is presented.

Because so many evangelicals do next to NOTHING to change their flaws and all too often BASK in the flaws and flaunt them around like they were medals pinned there by god..

Hmmm. That has not been my experience. Believers should mature spiritually as they pray, study scripture and use their spiritual gift(s).
Of course it does but we have nothing to do with our salvation. Jesus did that. We are responsible for our sanctification through love of God and each other and repentance when we don't.
Which is why I said "we." Salvation is from a selfish way of life TO a way of love, and that includes finding ways that we fail in it and correcting that failure, mostly through understanding and sharing the unconditional love of God.

You're close. What we must do is accept the gift of salvation. It's not automatic. Romans 10:9-10

There is nothing to accept. It is a done deal. It is finished. Jesus is our Savior and we have nothing to do with it. Our job is sanctification through love of God and each other. Sin happens in our mind. Our state of mind is either agape loving, neutral or sinful (selfish/unloving), period.

Not until we accept. Romans 10:9-10, Heb. 11:6
