If you have no need for truth, righteousness, gospel, faith, salvation and the Holy Spirit, then do as the other posted and get rid of them. Mystic will give you the "hallelujah" if you do. Or maybe you already ditched them.
Are you upset an atheist got a Hallelujah? You know, they say there is a secret cord that David played and it pleased the Lord, but you don't really care for music do you?

No. I didn't even know you were an atheist. I just find it odd anyone would praise someone with "hallelujah" for ditching truth, righteousness and the holy spirit.
If you think you have the answer, why not provide it? Jesus needs the armor of God? Why?
I am not interested in your spin. No one said anything about Jesus needing anything, but your stance seems to be He did not need/have the Holy Spirit, truth, righteousness, etc.
If we, as believers, live by the Holy Spirit, truth, righteousness, faith, salvation and the Gospel we will remain on the right track in our spiritual live. It is not a complicated message.

If Jesus is truly God He has no "need" for armor or righteousness or truth. Since the biblical description of God (who is Jesus) is "God is Love," all else is a byproduct of that. You have essentially chosen descriptions of the characteristics of God over the Cross of Christ which showed to us all that God is indeed love.
I see now you are trying to live by Law. No amount of trying to be righteous and have faith (in order to have salvation) will succeed at being adequate. You fail at least one of those every single day----then promise God you will try harder in your prayers (so do most people who live according to the Law). God just wants to provide you with grace. Grace comes from the Cross which you eschew in order to work your way to God wearing that inadequate armor and shouting "Onward Christian Soldiers."
Can't you see God rejected all those military images as they wat to "win" and just says "Trust Me! We will win in a way no one understands---by the Cross. By submission. The world fights and honors might, but I say you cannot have any of the traits you desire until you stop resisting and stop finding enemies in others."
You cannot "win" with armor (Jesus didn't have any), and when you live under the Cross there is no need to "win."
Is it too had to accept the fact you didn't know what the armor of God meant?
Pride goes before the fall......
It's too bad you've never experienced the Cross that Jesus did.
