Not everyone is apathetic. My church sees several people saved and baptized every week.
I know that. I know it bothers some as well. I had a hard time myself for many years trying to wrap my mind around the fact (back then) that most people I run into, most family, most co-workers, most neighbors, most everyone....had a 500 degree oven being preheated just for them from a 'loving' but just God they said. If you really believe that...you cannot come to any other conclusion that the devil won. God lost. He could only save a tiny few. Bummer for us I guess.

China has the fastest growing Christian population in the world.
So much so for only a few finding the narrow way which you espouse to. Another reason i fully reject bible fundamentalism, the contradictions know no end.
I see more and more walking away, because of conservative fundamentalism.
Although, the only thing they are really walking away from is the mentality.

An intelligent person would know that no one asked you to follow anyone. You made a comment about you seeing people leaving church and pretended to know their motives, but facts are against that claim. An intelligent person would to come up with more believable false claims.

I recently read a blog post by a former worship leader who left the faith after she read a book “proving” contradictions in the Bible. Apparently, she grew up believing the foundation of our faith is a non-contradicting book.
