And that's the ironic thing. They believe it so passionately but if it really happened, their draws would drop and they would be creeped out and deny it.

Yes, thats what I dont get, its like when we were discussing the Nephilim on here not long ago, all the diehard christians cannot believe there were literal giants on the earth at one time, they say its too bizarre and unbelievable...but they have no problem accepting that the creator of the entire universe was born into a human body and ascended back to heaven, or that he did things like walk on water, or bring someone back from death, etc.
