Thanks for finding that article, Okiegirlfriend. I was hoping someone would post a link to information about Norma McCorvey. I got side tracked looking a while back and gave up! I think it's good to let those who are pro-abortion know the truth about the lady behind the "abortion rights law." I knew she has had change of heart and mind about abortion.

Yes of course you have choices, free will gives us that ability. I do support abortion as I have said it numerous times before. One can only make choices when they have walked in another's shoes. I do not judge women who choose to have an abortion, nor do I judge you for being pro life.

If the mother is going to have severe complications or lose her life. No, it's not a sin whatsoever. Do you really think God would condemn someone for saving their own life? The baby cannot live anyway if the mother is at stake. Now...the tricky part is...if the mother is raped. It's an AWFUL thing when this happens to a woman. Regardless of her choice, I think God knows her heart. It's easy to weigh in on this decision from the outside..but once you are actually in those shoes...or your daughter..or mom..or sister..or aunt is in those shoes..you really can't even come close to understanding.

Abortion is not birth control, it is the willful destruction of life. Therefore it is a sin. It is possible to implement birth controll without the destruction of life.

The best option for who? Certainly not the baby! There are other options...there are many couples unable to have a child that would love to adopt a baby that is unwanted by it's mom. That's the best option.

Abortion is a sin. Girls who have abortions are 90% of the time affected by it, often quite badly. Perhaps it is because the soul of the baby comes from the mother, so when the baby is destroyed somehow the mother 'feels' its death? I really don't know for sure, just that Abortion is sin and the mother, for whatever reason she does it, gets affected by it in a very profound and lasting way.

Wow. What a naive and irresponsible attitude. If someone is old enough to have sex they should be responsible enough to deal with the possibility of getting pregnant. And IMHO aborting a child for the reason of just not wanting it is extremely irresponsible.

Default who are we to know?

Who are we to know the will of the heavenly father? Who are we to know the plan for this child's life? This is how I base my no to abortion. We presume to be the creator when we make these decisions. Just my opinion.

Most of the women who are so affected by the aftermath of an abortion are affected from an outside source (guilt from religious belief's or people telling them they are murders, sinners, ect...) rather than internally.

I guess if you've never had an abortion, you would not know for sure though, right?

Inner torment and physical conditions are far more than the outward disdain.
Most are kept secret.

godspeed,
