What "greater works" is Jesus talking about in John 14:12 ?
"When the Lord dwells in us by means of the Spirit, He will do greater things through us than He did when He was here in the days of His flesh...."
"Spiritual achievements" One of the greater works is to help lead people to Jesus the Christ. Witnessing; sharing your faith and seeing the Holy Spirit working through us to save an individual is much greater than causing the blind to see or raising the dead.
Let me prove it. When Jesus was accused and sentenced to crucifixion, where were all the hundreds of people He performed miracles on? yet His disciples who were chosen by God stayed with Him and witnessed to others after he left, leaving them the "comforter" the Holy Spirit who convicted many to repent and put their trust in Jesus Christ even when they faced the horror of crucifixion, burned at the stake and ripped apart by lions rather than deny Him.
The Power of the Holy Spirit was definitely at work here, no doubt about it. Those people would and could never face such a fate without the Holy Spirit dwelling in them. I can't think of any greater work. Anything done to the Spirit last whereas anything done to flesh does not.

Annointing blind eyes to see again in faith...Setting the captive free by the Truth of God's Word...Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ unto Salvation to all the world...And I believe that we will do even greater works than Jesus did, because now He will be at the right hand of God the Father, as our Intercessor...being filled with the Holy Spirit as our Guide and Helper as we go out into the world and allow the Lord to do His work through us...and because the harvest is great and the workers are few, and our work will involve great effort and pain or suffering for Him..we have a Great Commission to go and be a living sacrifice...this is our purpose ...to fulfill God's will in us...Amen.
What Jesus did in the flesh only touched a few thousand in His lifetime. His apostles reached even more. The disciples down thru the generations have reached even more. We all have the same abilities as the Apostles and Christ, it is just our faith is not strong enough so we are lame ducks. We see many examples of those who claim to have these abilities and do the works of Christ but they are merely glory seekers and in turn harden the hearts of the elect against being able to do such things. We need to study and meditate on His word so we too can do what He did and greater.

(1) You mean we can forgive sin?
(2) You mean we can't be re-elected?
We can forgive others of doing us wrong just as Christ forgave those who did Him wrong. There is no need to be re-elected, we are just not as faithful as we should be and we can become stronger in our faith if we would just do as the Lord instructs.

I think most have answered you satisfactorily here, so I have nothing to add.
However, I've noticed you've only recently come on board and all 5 posts are simply a singular question. The question on the specific subject usually tends to look like you are wanting to expose some supposed flaw in the Biblical belief, but then maybe I'm wrong.
You don't ever respond back to anyone, so I'm curious as to what your point was in asking the question
The Christian faith has become so watered down that we have allowed some really bad stuff to happen to our society. We reject the teachings of Christ to be politically correct or tolerant and that rejection starts eating at what we believe to the point many start picking and choosing what to believe and go to such extremes that the Bible is even being completely rejected in favor of divergent writings and tradition. The Holy Spirit is being rejected in favor of spirits of deception and those who still believe are not as firm as they should be because they afraid of being beaten down by others.
