Has anyone here ever read the first and/or second one? If so, what did you think?

Well it does not conflict with the Bible....It seems to give a little more information, fill in some gaps that one might have questions about...i think it is a good read...in fact through my research i found that the early church actually held it in high regard along with the rest of scripture (and i am not talking about the Letters of the New Testament)...And i believe in some of the letters the Apostles quote from them or the books of Enoch which were also held in high regard...

I've read through the majority of the first one. It was pretty cool to read. However I think if anything it was more of a work of fiction that contained spiritual truth. If I remember correctly Adam and Eve kept committing suicide multiple times(God would keep resurrecting them) because they were so depressed about being kicked out of the garden.

I don't think it is by any means on par with scripture. But if you've already got enough of the Bible in your head and your looking for entertainment...Why not?

The books are rejected by the last cannon of Bible for the King in the land were the last cannon was...... All new converts and people studing the word for Holy Spirit,,,, these books are off limits. ... which can cause confusion wth the Holy Spirit and can give rise to false preachers, and teachers .... None of these books of pseudepigrapha were in the scrolls when Jesus preached and learned from at the Temples were he studied, only the books in the Old Testament are the books that Jesus learned and quoted from.... Go and seek the face of The Lord God..... and I believe that Jesus will tell you `` Throw these books in the trash ``and be free
