Regardless if you think he is a troll or not. The world is asking these same questions and Christians should address them. Like it or not these type of Ministries are hurting the gospel in some shape or form.

I like Joyce Meyer and then TD Jakes.
I also like Les Feldick - He reminds me of a shop teacher in High School.
And I like that Lady in California with the long, dark curly hair. She is great with the history and language of the bible.

There is a lot of negative things that could be thought and said about how much money any particular ministry gets and how they use it but I am not here to judge. I do attempt to discern but beyond that, they are in God's hands.

It's not just about money but many of them have abhorrent teaching even bordering on heresy.

Default Biblical definition of Christianity

To the original poster. Don't let man define Christianity!!!

Most of what we see that is presented as Christianity is not Christianity. Most denominations promote some truth. But there is also alot of non truth.

The old testament is divided into 5 key areas History, Law, Poetry and major and minor prophets. The new testament is divided into 4 key areas. The 4 gospels (biography of Jesus Christ). The book of conversions (acts) The epistles (letters from apostles to the church) and revelation (the close of the new testament)

Around 100 years after the close of the New Testament, the catholic church started. They took a little truth and a little non truth and put it together to come up with their Denomination. Everything spun out of control since with the lutherans and many others that have come out of restoration movements.

Today we have so many new denominations (divisions started by man) and people don't know what to believe in. My sugestion to anyone that is interested in knowing about Church, Worship, What to do to be saved and so on. Pick up your bible and study. Start with word searches. When your studying consider what the passages are infering and take notes. Pay attention to the commands and who they are written to. Also look for examples of the commandments being acted upon in Christian lives and how they delt with struggles during the first century.

If anyone apply a good bible study independent of outside manipulation, people would laugh at the above mentioned religous leaders and most churches would close their doors. The truth will always expose a lie.

Croflo Dollar is a crook, TD Jakes and Joel Olsteen mean well but have watered down theology, and Joyce Meyer has some good books, but seems to be in it only for the money just as the rest are. The pretty long haired woman in Californis sounds like former Porn Star Mellissa Scott who says alot without saying anything but put money in my pocket.

I am sorry but if these preachers were sincere they would not be living so lavishly and would be ensuring that those less fortunate had better lives. Creflo Dollar is my favorite to dislike because my best bud in Georgia used to pick up his garbage. The man lives like a king while people just down the street, within 5 miles of his homw are homeless and starving. If he was the man of God he claims then Atlanta Georgia would an eutopia because the money he hordes would make so many live so much better.

So do you think Rick Warren is sincere, then?

I am still looking into Rick Warren. He doesnt take a salary from his church and lives off of his book sales. From what I understand he even paid the Church back for all the money he did accept before become a successful writer. If this is true then I personally commend him. I have also heard that he spend alot of money helping people in Africa. The only problem I can find with him at this time is that maybe he is not spending enough, Christ did tell the young ruler to sell all he had and give it to the poor. Dont get me wrong, I have the same problem with myself, we could all be doing more no matter how much we are doing. So I would have to say, from what I know, Rick Warren would put the rest of these folks to shame.

regrettably, none of these talk about the reality of suffering that jesus said would shape the christians life.

Jesus said,
"blessed are those who are percuted for my name sakes.
the world hateth me, therefore the world hateth you. But be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world."

These aforemonetioned TV evangelicals preach an "easy believeism ", then you'll have the good life theology. it is a false gospel.

The liberation theology so prevalent among mostly african amercian churches is due in large part to the roots of slavery ansd oppression they did in fact suffer just 150 years ago.

These so called ministers act as if you can make God into whatever you like. They forget that " His thoughts are not our thoughts, His ways are not our ways." yet joel osteen would have you believe that :you can have your best life now, and Joyce meyer will have you "enjoy everyday life."

they're nothing more than self help, positive mental imaging salesman and given the size of their corporate jets, belong in corporate america.

Joyce flies around in a 20 million dollar challenger 604. jesse duplantis, ken copeland fly a cessna citation 10, the world's fasted business jet and it cost 35 million.

Tell me, what good are they? other than helping someone who feels a little blue, a little depressed. They do nothing to help the poor, to feed the hungry, to give shelter to the homeless.

and jesus had a word for them, "many will say to me Lord, lord didn't we cast out demons in your name, and give tithes, and keep the law... and I will say, "get behind me I never knew you."
