Exactly - I know of no proof that "heaven" is a physical realm; God is spirit and we are created as spirits as well. To be renewed is a changing of the mind (as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he), and the mansions Jesus spoke of are obvious dwelling places - but God does not dwell in houses - we are the tabernacles.

God is in hell:

Psa 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

If you go by the King James version

That shows you that this is all spiritual in nature - we being carnal design everything we read into physical realms, and it just isn't so.

Well, God is spirit so He can't be fleshly.

It is not a matter of spiritual or not but a matter of correct translation.

The Hebrew word is Sheol, and was really meant to convey the idea of the grave not hell.

It is not "heaven" we go to anyway but the heavens (plural) or celestials (plural) which is out amongst the vast starry reaches of space to head up all in the Christ in the heavens (see Ephesians 1:9-10).
Eph 1:9-10 making known to us the secret of His will
(in accord with His delight, which He purposed in Him)"
(10) to have an administration of the complement of
the eras, to head up all in the Christ -
both that in the heavens and that on the earth"

It is a wonderful future we have to look forward to! We will be busy and not idle!

This reminds me of an equally interesting and relevant question: how many angels can dance on the head of a pin?

I agree, If I can't be in God's presence, then what's the point of going to Heaven if He isn't there.
