But isn't heaven in the heart of a child of God....NOW??? I enjoy His presence now, not just looking into the near future!
Exactly - I know of no proof that "heaven" is a physical realm; God is spirit and we are created as spirits as well. To be renewed is a changing of the mind (as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he), and the mansions Jesus spoke of are obvious dwelling places - but God does not dwell in houses - we are the tabernacles.

It is not "heaven" we go to anyway but the heavens (plural) or celestials (plural) which is out amongst the vast starry reaches of space to head up all in the Christ in the heavens (see Ephesians 1:9-10).
Eph 1:9-10 making known to us the secret of His will
(in accord with His delight, which He purposed in Him)"
(10) to have an administration of the complement of
the eras, to head up all in the Christ -
both that in the heavens and that on the earth"
It is a wonderful future we have to look forward to! We will be busy and not idle!
Is it really about heaven, or is it really about God. Would it be heaven without God? I wouldn't want to be anywhere where God isn't. God bless.
I agree, If I can't be in God's presence, then what's the point of going to Heaven if He isn't there.
