God didn't need a sacrifice. Jesus did away with sacrifices but yet, see what that got Him? Jesus had to become Divine because God is Divine. If Jesus had remained the perfect natural man, the equivelant of Adam and Eve before their fall, He could not have brought the God Conscience to man. He would have just been a natural perfect man. The gift that the first parents forfeited was the same gift that Jesus brought. Now all can become as Jesus and more. It's only up to the individual if they want it or not.

True, but I'm free from the consequences of sin.

Romans 4:7-8

"Blessed are they
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered."

"Blessed is the man
whose sin the Lord will never count against him."

The ONLY way to have an intimate realationship with God the Father, in which we can approach Him through prayer in which He hears us, is by faith, recieving through the Holy Spirit, His Living, Written Word, Who is Jesus Christ, into our heart, and walking in it's truth.
